I can definitely say that I have put everything I gathered into this film, financially but especially emotionally, and honestly, otherwise it wouldn’t feel right.
Unfortunately, finances are also part of the equation. We made the classic mistake of letting principal photography eat the post-production budget and then some!
We’re close to being able to put “Sex Before Church” into the world, but only with your support we can give it the proper post-production treatment that it deserves.

MEET THE DIRECTOR
Alexandru Borchescu
Dropped out in my last year of filmmaking school after realizing that I can’t trade the piece of paper they would have given me for the opportunity to make my first feature film.
This proved to be, like in many other cases, a great decision, marking the start of a journey in which I was lucky enough to earn the money necessary for the film, but more importantly this was the time in which the destiny defining event took place, a clash with life itself that shattered some parts of me. Not knowing what to do with the shards that just wouldn’t fit back in, I made the film.
